How to repair edge of plasterboard?
Hi all
I have some cracks in a plasterboard wall and the tape at the corner where the wall meets a bulkhead seems to have pulled as well. Any ideas how i fix this?

Re: repair edge of plasterboard
Hello @spinner4839
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your plasterboard wall.
I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to repair a plasterboard wall by @Adam_W. You can skip the starting steps and proceed all the way to step 5 where the gap is properly repaired. In regards to the tape that has pulled off, I recommend removing the sections that have lifted up with a craft knife and replacing it with new tape. You can then plaster over the damaged sections.
The general steps will be to clean the crack and remove any loose bits and debris that may be hanging onto the open crack. You lightly sand the surface of the crack, but be sure to wipe it clean so that there will be no dust on the wall. Plasterboard tape is then applied to the crack and covered with filler. Once the patch has cured you then sand it down to level and prepare the wall for painting.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Eric
