How to repaint a door with peeling paint?

 Hi I’m wanting to repaint some doors that have peeling paint. The new paint is a  matte finish and the door is glossy

To successfully repaint your door, it's important to address the peeling paint thoroughly. The compromised layer needs to be entirely removed by sanding; this ensures that the new paint adheres properly and prevents future peeling.
