Do you need to undercoat surface before applying putty
Why does old putty crack and crinkle.
if it is strong can you put new putty on top of old putty
will using filler such as multfill fill cracks and / smooth surface

Hi Mitchell,
Thanks for your warm welcome. I have done a fair bit of renos in the past but have always used the the linseed putty, so I stood in the aisle having product indecision and decided to come home and read up 😆
I'll give the Earls a go, it was the one I walked around the store with in my hand, so I should have trusted my instincts.

Do you need to redo the glazing @potteringaround? It looks quite reasonable in the image, though it might not showcase the issue.
