Hi
i want to order a custom size awning window for my bathroom . I have a 900mm wide opening and 450mm height. i am ordering but they have asked me to give them size of window. I am unsure how do i measure the window size as with the frame i want the window to fit in 900mm opening. I am not concerned about the height.
Hi @goyal03,
Thank you for your question.
I'd suggest they will need you to measure the width at both the top and bottom, the height on both the left and the right and the depth of the window opening. Make sure you measure along each individual side and don't assume the opening is perfectly square.
If you are planning to make alterations to the frame to fit the desired height, then the height of the opening is likely not as important, but it is still worth measuring.
It would be best to speak with the producer of the window to ensure you are giving them all the measurements they require.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
