we have sliding aluminium windows around the house that have been sealed shut from a painting job 3 years back. We have tried breaking the paint seal from all sides of the windows using a Stanley knife. But the windows has absolutely no horizontal or vertical movement. Any suggestions on how to tackle this or what kind of professionals to bring in.
Thanks

Hello @parinitarao
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your sliding windows.
Please note that working with glass is very dangerous, if too much force is applied to the frame or the glass it could shatter and cause injury. I therefore suggest not applying any extreme force to the frame or glass. If you have have tried to use various methods to get your windows to move and none of them have worked, I suggest engaging the services of a professional aluminium window installer. They will be able to make suggestions on how the window frame can be treated in order for the window to open again.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
