Hello, sorry if this isn't the right kind of question but I was seeking some advice from people with knowledge.
The outside of our house got scraped and now looks like this.
How do we got about fixing something like this? We don't know where to start. We think it's Hebel concrete, would we need to get a professional out and would it be a small job?
Sorry for the vagueness of my question,
Thanks in advance,
Take a chip off, take it to Bunnings and get a small tin of paint colour matched to it by the paint staff. Grab some render and a a trow, go home with both, add water to the render mix and stir until it's a nice consistency, then apply it to the wall. Once it's dry, grab the small tin of paint you purchased and paint the render.
Cheap solution, but it will save you in costs of hiring a professional.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @notaclue24. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing damage to render.
It's terrific to see that @Remarka6le has provided some excellent advice. To go along with it, you might like to read through @Jolly181's discussion on How to repair the render?. They successfully managed to restore some similar damage to their wall.
You can pick up a small tub of Poly 500g Exterior Masonry Filler which will do a great job at repairing this area. Once you've applied a flat coat level with the surrounding surface, you can return with a stiff bristle paintbrush and stipple/texture the area.
