How to fix bathroom exhaust fam switch also turns on exhaust fan in other room?

bathroom exhaust fam switch also turns on exhaust fan in other room, which can wake up flatmate if I get up early to shower as it also turns on their exhaust fan too. 

any ideas on how this can be fixed?

That's an interesting problem, that I'm sorry to say will require the assistance of a licenced electrician. Any kind of wiring issue, such as the one you are facing, will not have a D.I.Y. solution due to the risks involved with electrical work.

I'd suggest speaking with your landlord and then contacting an electrician that operates in your area. If you need to find an electrician, you can use a service such as HiPages or True Local to find electricians in your area.
