How to brighten old yellow paint?
My recently bought house has a very old YELLOW (80s color) how to color it with white, any idea. I tried 3 quotes of CHEMSTUK brand after cleaning the wall with BLEACH but still yellow shed is there.

Thank you for sharing your question about your yellow ceiling. I'm afraid the ceiling has been stained, but I am not sure by what. I'm afraid chemical cleaning will not work anymore, and it needs to be painted.
I suggest using a clean rag and methylated spirits to find out if you have oil or water-based paint. Put some spirits on the clean rag and rub a small section of your ceiling. If the paint comes off it is water-based, if nothing happens and the paint just becomes clean or shiny it is oil-based. Once you find out what kind of paint it is you can then decide what paint product to get.
Just keep in mind that the general steps will be to sand the ceiling, clean it and then use a primer before you paint the topcoat of the ceiling. My best advice would be to cover all the appliances and flooring with painter's drop sheet so that the items in the area will not get ruined by paint.
