How to put wooden steps on concrete stairs?

Is it better to line the concrete  steps first with screwed down ply and then glue the new wooden step to the ply? Or glue straight onto the concrete with the new step.?

Re: How is the best way to put wooden steps on concrete stairs?

Thanks a lot Eric - I hope @Paul4 would send back a reply soon.

could you also advise me the timbers, nails and lining to use for this purpose? do you have any videos showing how to do?

Re: How is the best way to put wooden steps on concrete stairs?

Hello @MeganW

I'm sorry, I don't have a video guide for this particular building exercise. Increasing the height of your steps is involved and technical, I suggest engaging the services of a registered builder to advise you on the materials you'll need to use to attach your wooden panels to the concrete steps.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
