How do I best match paint in a can?
I have some left over mixed oil based paint in a can. If I want to get the paint colour matched at Bunnings what do I need to paint it onto? Paper, cardboard? How many layers? Thanks

Re: How do I best match existing oil based paint for skirting boards that I have in a can?
Hi @lifeisbeaut,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
You can put the paint on anything as long as it is at least the size of a 50-cent piece, it is flat, and it is dry. Either paper or cardboard will work.
If you wanted to, you could even bring the old paint in store with you so the team at the Paint Counter can assist with ensuring the best colour match is possible.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
