House movement
May 2021
Hi,
I am concerned about the crack that has been growing where an addition was built onto the house many years ago. Just looking for some possible reasons for it and advice as to who I should get in to take a look at it.

Re: House movement
July 2021
Hi Mike,
I have followed the advice of MitchellMc. I have had two structural engineers assess the damage and both gave me advice that the damage wasn’t enough to need to lift the corner but to underpin the corners which has been completed. This will stop the movement as the drainage (the original cause) has also now been fixed.
