Hanging pictures without damaging walls

I have few pictures to be hung on the wall before open house day. Scared off peeling of the plaster to use any tapes or hooks. Recently used a small strip of magic tape which peeled of big chunk of the plaster. :unhappy:

Any guidance here?

Re: Hanging pictures without damaging walls

Really depends on the weight of what you are putting up as to what is suitable @gayathri.

Bunnings has 3M stuff that is removable - https://www.bunnings.com.au/diy-advice/home-improvement/shelving-and-storage/organise-your-home-with...

Note the directions -

Just make sure to prep the surface withisopropyl rubbing alcohol to remove any grime and dust. If you’ve recently painted a surface you are looking to hang a removable hook on, make sure to give the paint at least 28 days to full cure.

You can always remove the tabs by pulling it downwards, parallel to the wall surface (never towards you). Make sure to pull steadily. If it hasn’t come off cleanly, you can use dental floss to remove the rest.

Hi MartyrH, apologies for the delayed reply. I did try your suggestions and have mounted quite a few pictures all over the house. Busy getting other things sorted out around the house.
Thank you so much for taking time to give the above suggestions.
Cheers.
Gayathri.
