Differences between Wagner W100 and W350?

Hi there,

Considering purchasing a Wagner Spray Gun to use over the weekend. The Wagner W100 and Wagner W350 seem to both be well reviewed. The W100 is priced at $59 and the W350 at $149.

I've tried to get more information from the Wagner website on the W100 but the page doesn't seem to be working.

I'm wanting to know what the differences are between the two models and whether or not I need to justify the extra $90 of the W350.

Re: Differences between Wagner W100 and W350?

Hello @ruredi13

The Wagner W100 and W350 are both excellent choices for painting projects, but their differences primarily lie in power, versatility, and ease of use. If you’re considering which one to purchase, here’s a quick breakdown to help you decide:

The Wagner W100 is a compact and lightweight spray gun, ideal for smaller projects like furniture, fences, or single-room interiors. It has a slightly lower power output which means it may take longer to complete larger jobs. It’s priced at $59, making it a budget-friendly option for simpler tasks or occasional use.

The Wagner W350, at $149, offers more advanced features and higher performance. It is designed for medium to large projects, such as painting walls, ceilings, or exteriors. It typically has a more powerful motor, and adjustable spray settings, making it faster and more efficient for extensive coverage. Its higher price is justified if you plan to use it frequently or tackle bigger, more demanding projects.

If you’re painting a house interior or exterior this weekend, the W350 will likely save you significant time and effort due to its superior capacity and power. However, if your project is small or you’re trying spray painting for the first time, the W100 is a reliable, cost-effective choice.

Both models are well-regarded for ease of use and producing smooth, even finishes. If your budget allows, the W350 offers greater versatility and convenience, but the W100 is a great entry-level option that gets the job done efficiently for less.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
