Hi. Please, I have scratched the floor with a black plastic wheel of the clothes drying rack. The wheel was braked and the load heavy, upon moving this scratch occurred. It is a rental, so I need to fix as effectively and cheaply as possible. Any Ideas please. I tried wax crayon but it is not disguising the horizontal mark. I realise you can replace boards, I would have to have a professional do that for me and also purchase the boards. Pricey. Please any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @AimeeEJ. It's great to have you join us and many thanks for your question about fixing a scratch mark.
I suggest you continue to try the wax crayons, as they are the main method for repairing this type of damage. If you haven't tried already, you really need to melt the crayon to get good penetration. I've added a helpful guide below.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
