Can you make two doors from a bi-fold?

My bathroom door is 2040x720x35 and the hallway is tiny so I would like to install "french doors" 2040x360x35 instead of a whole door.

Custom made doors are expensive, can ready made bi-fold door be converted into 2 doors if I remove the hinge from the middle?

Hi @Nanne 

That is an excellent idea, the good news is that you can use the Hume 2040 x 720 x 35mm Internal Bifold Door RMDF Flush Redicote BF in a French door configuration. It has timber supports on both sides which allows you to mount hinges on either side of the door.
