Bunnings Workshop community members impressed and inspired with their creativity during this most challenging of years.
Many members made the most of more time at home to tackle wonderful new D.I.Y. projects to transform their homes.

The Top 10 most popular projects shared this year (by pageviews) were:
1. Besser block outdoor bench and landscaping by @sandy_d
This relatively simple makeover for the corner of a garden took just a few weekends and included a bench seat made with Besser blocks and Pine posts, plus a concrete planter.
2. Low-profile deck with screening and steps by @MGusto
Using a screw pedestal system as bearers, this low-level deck proved hugely inspiring to many Workshop members, and was complemented by steps at each end, Merbau screening panels and new garden beds.
3. Simple and spacious desk by @robchin
Built in just one hour using a SpecRite Teak panel and RapidMesh furniture legs, this huge desk was the envy of many community members working from home this year.
4. Fire pit entertaining area with seating and planter boxes by @raymond265
This wonderful outdoor area for year-round entertaining includes bench seats with built-in planter boxes and a fire pit lid that doubles as a small table.
5. VJ panelling feature wall by @craftyhopper
Rather than spend hours trying to remove or paint over a mural, VJ panels were utilised for this stunning feature wall.
6. Cosmetic kitchen makeover by @diy_hausdesigns
This kitchen feels bigger and brighter after Rufaro painted the cabinets and tiled splashback, added more cabinetry and installed a new benchtop and appliances.
7. Mobile workbench on castors by @JoeAzza
Joe upcycled this attractive and functional workbench using wheels and a larger frame to offer more workspace and portability.
8. Kitchen overhaul by @tom_builds
A tired, outdated kitchen was dramatically refreshed by Tom using new flooring, cabinets, tiled splashback, benchtop, tap and sink with a budget of $9000.
9. Laundry renovation for more benchspace by @dinaandjake
This impressive laundry transformation included new cabinetry while making room for a dryer and adding valuable benchspace to cater for the needs of a growing family.
10. Studio and shed in the making by @DIYgals
Watch a time-lapse construction video of Sarah and Lauren’s fantastic new studio and shed and see how they have added their own personal touches such as lined walls, polished concrete floors and a VJ cladded door.
