Narrow side yards can be tricky to utilise, but can be both attractive and functional. You can create an inviting view from a nearby window by clever planting and screening, utilise raised garden beds and vertical gardens to add valuable space for growing vegetables and ornamental plants, and create storage for outdoor and gardening equipment.

The projects shared by Bunnings Workshop community members can give you ideas how you can revamp your home's side way. If you need further assistance with your own project, please don't hesitate to hit the Ask a question button. We're here to help.

After putting in my new garage I ended up with a narrow space down the side, bit of a wasteland...
I was debating what to do with it when I suddenly thought... I really need a shadehouse for my plants. Perfect spot!
