Hi,
seeking your guidance on repairing a concrete driveway.
i have both larger cracks and fine cracks that will need to be repaired along with smallish (5cmx2cm) concrete that has chipped off in corners. Planning on either painting or tint sealing post repair.
Someone advised they would fill with caulk and then tint seal 2 coats? Would this work and would it hide the sealant so it looks uniform or is there a better way. Rough finish driveway never painted.
would concretemate or grout be a better way to go? Paint or tint sealer? Thinking I could do it myself.
Hello @Alexdiy
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about repairing your driveway.
I suggest using Earl's Concremate on all the small and big cracks of the driveway. I recommend using a Trojan 50mm Paint Scraper to push and shape the concrete filler into all the cracks and fissures of the driveway. Once the driveway has been repaired, I propose painting it to add an extra layer of protection on its surface. I recommend having a look at the Berger Jet Dry 10L Heavy Duty Gloss Smoke Grey Paving Paint or similar.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to paint a concrete driveway
