Have a stack of these screws that need to be removed, but have no idea what tool is required?
They are on our decking and a few random bits the previous home owner has screwed onto the fence that now need removing

Re: removal of square driver screws

Hi @jwatt7,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

These are square drive screws which will require a square drive impact bit to remove. Most impact bit sets, such as this Kango 10-Piece HyperTorque Impact Driver Bit Set will contain a square drive bit.

These bits can be used with an impact driver, drill or bit-holding screwdriver.

You can also purchase SQ2 Driver Bits individually.

There is also a slight chance they are SQ1 bits, in which case, you can use these IRWIN 57mm SQ1 Impact Pro Performance.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
