How to fix broken terracotta tiles?

 any tips on the best adhesive to fix these terracotta tiles which are on outdoor stairs?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your terracotta steps.

Before you use any sort of adhesive, I suggest brushing the broken surface with a plastic bristle brush to remove any loose or sandy debris that may be laying on the surface of the break. Once you've cleaned the break and surroundings as best as possible, I recommend using either Selleys 415g Liquid Nails Landscape Stone Concrete Adhesive or Mortafil 450g Terracotta Mortar. Both are rated for outdoor use and provide a solid grip.

Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when working on your project.
