How to build a small entry way deck?

We want to build a small deck in front of the house but the entry way doesn’t have much space for framing. Photo attached is a 90x45mm against the door. What’s the best approach to put the frame and install the deck? We are also using adjustable pedestals on the concrete and tuff blocks on natural ground to level up.

The decking length we want from the door would be 4m and ends just behind garden bed. The width would be 3.5m

thank you.

Re: beginner diy

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @tofdiy. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about creating a deck.

You might just have enough height for 70 x 45mm and your 19mm decking timber. Otherwise, you'd need to consider turning the 90mm on its face so it's only 45mm high.

You'll probably find you don't have enough height to using pedestal feet under the timber and you might need to use plastic packing shims and Dynabolt the joist directly to the slab through the top of them.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
