When to complete landscaping and concreting for new home?

My new home handover is in a month time.
my Builder allows me to do the landscaping.
This may be silly question 😄 as it's my first time.
I have following questions on landscaping.

1) Is it ok to do landscape now before handover but how about watering the grass as I am 45km away from my site so watering daily not possible.

2)Is it ok to do concrete on 1.5m sides now or better to do later after home land settle with soil.

Re: Landscaping and Side concreting for new home

Hi @Samara1,

Thank you for your question about landscaping at your new home.

I'd suggest waiting till after the handover to do your landscaping as any remaining work around the property could damage the plants and grass that you install. To make sure everything stays undamaged and is able to be watered regularly, it would be best to wait.

I imagine the soil would have settled since the foundation stages of your build, so it is likely fine to do your concreting, but once again it is worth noting that there may still be minor works around the property that could affect the concrete.

The best person to ask is probably your builder. They will have an idea of any works that are still required and whether they will likely affect landscaping or concreting work.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
