Hi Team,
I have purchaed a DIY pergola kit (brackets) and they recommend they following timber for the construction -
However these either appear to be out of stock \ end of life \ not available in WA.
Sizes required are 90mm*90mm and 90mm*45mm. Are you able to advise -
Thanks
Hi @shmo,
Thank you for your question about materials to build a pergola.
Can you advise what your closest store in WA is?
I have spoken with the team at Innaloo who have confirmed they have plenty of 90x90 H4 posts and 90x45 H3 framing.
The issue you are experiencing is that the links you've been sent are for timbers that come from suppliers on the east coast of Australia. In WA we use different timber suppliers, so the links don't work if your home store on our website is set to one in WA.
Try the following links -
Outside of cutting them to length, assuming you are using a bracket system like the Toja Grid Any Size Pergola Kit, then there is almost no preparation required. You just put them in the bracket and screw them off.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
Hi @JacobZ
Thanks for the very quick reply and the info is very much appreciated.
Innaloo is my closest store so thank you.
Final question (hopefully) - for the 90 x 90 pieces, I'm looking for a length of approx. 4400mm. Any options here?
Thanks again
Hello @shmo
Please allow us to get in contact with our timber supplier and find out if the 90mm x 90mm is available at that length. As soon as we have more information, we'll get back to you.
Thank you for your patience.
