This might be us being paranoid, but we have found a dead mouse in the yard.
1) What pest barrier/ poison can we put around our backyard? We dont have any pet or toddlers in our family
2) Should we cover our weep hole with mesh?
3) How to prevent the mouse from climbing the exterior wall of our house and the ceiling space?
Its our first time having a dead mouse in our yard.. many thanks for any opinion...
Hello @ivanptr
It seems that this mouse was carried in with the flood. It looks like it did not die in that spot. But there is every possibility that it died there. Have you had any mice in the house? Having a dead mouse in the yard does not mean you have an infestation. But if you wish to be prepared you can use poisons and traps around the yard. However, I would probably observe the area first to see if there are others in hiding.
