What material for a pool box enclosure?

I would like some advice on what material I should use to create the cover of my pool box which is rotting away. The rest of the box (made of logs) is fine but the cover is disintegrating.

Is it possible to get some photos of your pool box?

I'm not quite sure what you mean and a photo will certainly help myself and others to offer recommendations based on your circumstances.
