That is amazing work. My only suggestion to complete the look is to build a fake fence cover for your hot water cylinder.

Thanks for the advice. It is definitely the remaining eye sore and I have one of these ready to go for exactly that! https://www.bunnings.com.au/specrite-1800-x-600-x-33mm-merbau-garden-fence-panel_p8500298.

I am planning on using some steel brackets and fixing it to the adjacent wall but I'm yet to try drilling into masonry (apprehensive mostly!) so once i get my head around that, I will put it up

The edging was quite cost effective too.

Thank you @diy_hausdesigns ! It looks like the wood edging isn't available in WA, hopefully I'll be able to find a good substitute as I love the look you have achieved.
