After a couple of pool overflows thanks to yours truly, I'm now convinced I need something to make my life a bit easier and to avoid overflowing my pool so often.
My pool equipment supplier has a self/auto levelling kit for me but I just thought I'd see if anyone here has experience using one. Are they reliable?
For those that don't know what I'm talking about, they get positioned in your skimmer box and act like a toilet inlet valve, ie. as the float rises to a certain point, the water stops filling. Once it drops, the water automatically flows.
Seems simple/reliable enough but always worth asking 😀
TIA
How about rigging one with a fluidmaster inlet valve. Behaves the same way.

It's an option. But will just keep it simple with one designed for pool.
