How to patch up concrete stencil damage?
Hi, need to patch up a stencil on concrete that has been damaged. I am assuming I won't get correct stencil matching colour, but something close to it to patch it up.
Cheers, Wendell

Re: Patch up concrete stencil damage
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @FobTheBuilder. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing stencilled concrete.
Repairing stencilled concrete is not really a D.I.Y. project, so you might like to engage the services of a professional who specialises in stencilled driveways.
I'm not aware of any concrete paints that are compatible over stencilled concrete, which limits your ability to mask the area. Concrete paints are also sold in quite large quantities. You could touch up the concrete area with grey concrete paint, but any paint applied over the stencilled area could delaminate. An issue you'll have is the painted areas will be a solid grey colour. You'd really need a lighter grey base colour and then a slightly darker grey to do the wood texture effect over it. Given this double layer, it would be best to investigate whether it would be more feasible for a professional to perform the repair.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Patch up concrete stencil damage
Afternoon @FobTheBuilder
Just to add to @MitchellMc suggestions and mine is kind of a long shot and really not sure how well it would last. But maybe think of "practicing" with some same colour spraypaint on something to see if you can match the effect. Maybe even talk to a local youth center for budding "artists on a fence" type deal as some of the work can be nice.
Id def try practicing on some carboard boxes or something just to see if you could "patch an area.
