Outdoor stair stringers - what is the required horizontal reach?

You have outdoor stair stringers 'suitable for heights up to 2975mm'.

What I need to know is what is the required horizontal reach for stairs with a vertical height of 2750mm?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about outdoor stair stringers.

You'll notice in the Wilmaplex Brochure that the height you're after is very close to the 2720mm kit. This means that you'll need a stringer with 16 treads which will have a horizontal distance of 3925mm. The 30mm difference can be taken up by the concrete footing at the bottom of the steps.

I also suggest having a look at the Peak Stair Stringer. I recommend visiting your local store and speaking to the special orders team regarding ordering stringers and their turn around time.
