After watching a few "5 minutes craft's" type of videos, I wanted to make one of them by myself.
It was an outdoor furniture using wooden pallets and I knew that I can source them for FREE. So Why not to try?
This one is a simple 2 sitter couch, but your imagination is a limit to what can be done out of them.
Materials
Tools
Free Pallets. As a matter of fact, many businesses will give them away if you ask
Optional: Cushion: https://www.bunnings.com.au/mojo-blue-and-white-marrakesh-bench-cushion_p0285756
Saw: https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-500mm-hand-saw_p5710074
Orbital or any sander: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-300w-random-orbital-sander_p6210549
Few nails
Steps
Step 1
1/7Get 2 pallets and cut them as per image
Step 2
2/7Keep 1 of the cut out parts as it will be used for a back wall.
Use 2 boards from second cut out, and reinforce/frame the first cutout on the sides.
Step 3
3/7Take the remaining of the 2 cut pallets and put them on top of the un-cut pallet. This will make the sides of the couch.
Nail all of them together.
Step 4
4/7Now it is time to use the sander. Sand all the sharp/ugly bits of the structure.
Step 5
5/7After sanding is done, slide the cut out part with frame before the second last gap closer to the back of the couch and voilà the couch is done.
Step 6
6/7As an option, you can get 2 of this cushion: https://www.bunnings.com.au/mojo-blue-and-white-marrakesh-bench-cushion_p0285756
they fit perfectly as the padding for bottom and back of the couch.
Step 7
7/7Here is the result product:

Re: Outdoor furniture out of free palets
Hello @den1ska
Thank you so much for sharing your outdoor furniture pallet project. I can already tell that this is a successful furniture build as the person using it is totally relaxed. Plus, your location in front of the pool is perfect as the sound of the water is always calming. Did you use 4 pallets in total? Will you be painting the pallet in the future to extend its usefulness?

Again, thank you for sharing such a fantastic project.

Re: Outdoor furniture out of free palets
Good day @EricL,
The total is 3 palettes, 1 uncut and 2 with middle being cut out.
4 can be used too, if you want to raise it of the ground.
Thank you for the link for more ideas!
