Outdoor area makeover
I wanted to freshen our outdoor area up so my husband and I started the big task of repainting our old colourbond fence with a lighter & fresher colour that matches our eaves and outdoor undercover structure. We painted the fence with exterior paint and used a brush and roller because we had established trees. The fence was pressured washed before painting & left to fully dry before we painted, it’s a big job so an extra set of hands is great, I cut in and painted the thin sections and hubby rolled the flat sections with a small foam roller. We also replanted out the garden bed with white hydrangeas to give a more classic look to the space. The finishing touches were outdoor rugs from Bunnings and I made a vertical garden bed out of our old swimspa step, the plants on the step were replanted from what I had taken out from where the hydrangeas were planted. We also mulched it with euchy mulch to help the garden retain water during summer.

Re: outdoor area makeover
Hi @Upcycler01,
It is absolutely amazing how a fresh coat of paint really transforms a space! You have done an excellent job with your outdoor area makeover and I think you have chosen a great colour. Your plant stand is really lovely, did you make that as well?

Re: outdoor area makeover
We have a swimspa but the steps warped in the sun, i repurposed those steps as the plant stand holder.
