Low-level deck over concrete - sub structure advice wanted
I'm building a low deck over concrete. I've done up my sub-structure plan (option A), but i'm wondering if I've over-engineered, and could get away with less builders feet (option B).
Or maybe i've missed something entirely!! Would appreciate feedback.
using a combo of 90x45 (blue) and 70x45 (purple).
option A
option B

Re: Low-level deck over concrete - sub structure advice wanted
Hello @tal_itha
Thank you so much for sharing your decking frame plans. I suggest going with option B as it will still be providing adequate support despite less feet. My only other recommendation is to add noggins between the joists to firm up the assembly.
Please keep us updated with your progress, we look forward to seeing the start of your decking frame assembly.

thanks @EricL , I'll add in some noggins, and go ahead with option B! And I will remember to take lots of photos of the process.
