Hi @Samara1.
Thank you for your question.
There is nothing wrong with the plastic ones, but I certainly have a preference for metal sheds.
Check out the range from Absco. Their Select A Shed tool is handy for picking out something that will fit your requirements.
You might also like to check out our Shed Assembly service which can be arranged through your local store's Special Orders desk.
Allow me to tag @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their thoughts.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
thanks @JacobZ which type is more durable to go for
Good Evening @Samara1
I have been looking at prefab sheds for awhile now, tho they really havnt filled what I want out of a shed.
Tin sheds = too hot and too low.
Plastic sheds = mmm Not hugely keen on the blow mould style of panels.
Timber sheds = Winning for me Especially once clad fit so many purposes once framed. (can be hardiplank, corroragted or even suntuff sheets for a greenhouse effect.
Now to narrow it down, There is a shed that I see every day driving to work that matches your dimensions perfectly and has been built with a wide roller door across the front. It looks clean, tidy and secure. I havnt seen what its mounted on but I would suggest a concrete slab raised above the ground level by a bit. The shed is corrorgated colourbond I think. Problem is, its on a main rd and it would really look suss if I take a photo If you really want one I can try and take a photo
One thing id suggest tho, whatever shed you go with. If possible get a 2.4m high one, much easier keeping it the same height as your normal room for ease of head height and storage.
