Would it be possible for you to please provide more information about your outdoor structure project? We'll then be able to give you better recommendations about your project. How big is the structure and what is it to be used for? Do you need to use treated timber for the structure? It is often recommended to use treated timber outside so that the wood will not rot or decay. Using unseasoned, untreated timber means that the structure will not last long outdoors as the timber will rot and decay.
If you can please tell us which store is closest to you we can find out if the 50 x 38 pine batten is available at that store.
