am wanting to add a wet look sealer to my blue stone pavement and was wondering what is the best product and also slip resistant .

the second photo is what it looks like when I hose it down and I much prefer the wet look and wanted to make it a permanent wet look

Re: How to seal bluestone pavers for a wet look?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @narelle2. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing bluestone pavers.

That's a bit of a tricky one as any wet-look sealer is a film on top of the stone and will be exceptionally slippery in the wet on that slope. But wet-look sealers can't have grit added to them. In fact, any sealer suitable for bluestone, such as Crommelin Natural Finish Penetrating Sealer And Water Repellent, can't have grit added. So, not only will it be hard to achieve that wet look, but you also can't add grit. The Natural Finish sealer is penetrating, so it won't make the surface as slippery as a wet-look sealer, but it won't give you that deep wet look. It would be best to try some on an inconspicuous area or spare paver to see if that look suits you.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
