How to replace screen door rollers?
I've read similar topics that say brute force may be required to remove the plastic housing prior to inserting the new assembly. I've tried a fat head screw driver, hammer, needle nose pliers. I can tilt the housing but can't get it out. Bits of it are starting to break off.

Re: How to replace screen door rollers?
Hi @aellero
That photo is a little blurry to see greater detail or I might have eaten to many brandy snaps.
But they should be screwed in wheels?
So take them out and with you to bunnings to select from a range of compatable wheel sets Some new wheel adjustment maybe requirred this is usually a simple screw adjustment.
So take them out of starters.

Re: How to replace screen door rollers?
I wish mine were as easy to remove. There are no screws. Thanks anyway

"So take them out of starters." That's the problem, I can't get them out. I've completely butchered one trying to get it out. It would be so simple if they were just screwed in

Re: How to replace screen door rollers?
Welcome to the Bunnings WOrkshop community @aellero. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing roller casings.
I'd imagine those inserts have a dogtooth that locks them in place. To remove them would require their destruction. I'd continue as you have been and try to break them apart. You might wish to place some drilled holes in them to compromise the plastic and allow it to be broken apart more easily.
