How to replace awning material?
Hi,
My awning has torn after some winds and I'm looking to change the material. Does Bunnings sell material or awnings that I can cut to size ? If not, know any other ways to change the material ?
It's dimensions whilst on are:
Awning size: 184(6ft) wide x 140cm(4ft, 7 inches) long.
Thanks !

Re: Replacement awning material
Hi @Bob9,
Thank you for your question about replacing the material on your awning.
I'd suggest checking out the range of shade cloth as a potential option.
It can be cut to size using a shade cloth cutter, a utility knife or even a pair of regular scissors.
Alternatively, check out our options for awnings as potential replacements for yours.
Let me know what you think.

Re: Replacement awning material
Hi,
Thanks for the link to the awning cloths. The only thing is that i need cloth that has the 2 loop holes at either end to slide the long thin plastic bit which holds it inside the cylindrical ends. Do any of your cloths have this loop hole bit? (see photo)

Re: Replacement awning material
Hi @Bob9,
Unfortunately, no, they don't. You might need to hem the shadecloth on a sewing machine, creating a pocket so you can insert the rod they've used on your current awning.
