Re: flyscreen repair/replace
Hi @David12,
Since your flyscreen is heavily damaged and needs replacing, you’ll need to start from scratch. First, you can purchase a new flyscreen frame, which is available in various sizes and materials, such as aluminum. After you have the new frame, you’ll need to cut it to fit your window, ensuring the dimensions match the old frame. Once the frame is ready, you can attach the new flyscreen mesh, which comes in materials like fibreglass, aluminum, or stainless steel. The mesh should be stretched tightly across the frame and secured with a spline (a rubber cord). For a full guide on how to replace both the frame and the mesh, check out this step-by-step guide: How to build a flyscreen frame.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
