I have got a weathered bricked in letter box. It has a rough bumpy texture on the outside.
I am not sure how I can match the pattern, alternative being filling in the chips, sanding it all down and painting it.
For paint, I presume any exterior paint will work.
Any help appreciated, thanks.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @unplanted5422. It's marvellous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing render.
You might like to start by having a read through this step-by-step guide: How to repair render. Within the guide it will show you how to recreate the render effect to match the surrounding area. An old toothbrush is great for stippling and texturing the repaired areas.
After you've repaired the render, you can apply good quality exterior paint such as Dulux Weathershield.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
