I've done a bit of googling, but has anyone else had to try to remove burn marks from an acrylic outdoor spa and what products did you use?

Hello @SharleneMA
There are two products you can try and to use to polish the burn mark out. You either try Rocket Super Fine Steel Wool - Super Fine or Flexovit 100mm x 1m 600 Grit Wet And Dry Sandpaper Roll.
Your objective is to put some dishwashing liquid on the burn and slowly rub the burn in a circular motion. What you want to do is to slowly make the burn fade away with the least amount of the PVC being sanded or rubbed away. You also don't want it to stand out as being too clean.
I propose doing it in short stages so that you can clean and observe the burn. As soon as it becomes unnoticeable unless you look for it, I suggest stopping and not rubbing any further.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
