How to remove rust and repaint a patio support beam?
Hi all,
patio support beams into tiles around salt water pool area. Can see some surface rust at the base (see pics) . Not surprised as pool
water after a few flying bombs 😉
Any tips to remove, protect and paint.

Thank you for your question.
Start by removing as much of the surface rust as possible with a wire brush.
Once it has been tidied up and the flaking rust has been removed, use a paintbrush to apply White Knight 0.125L Rust Guard Rust Converter and wait two hours for the reaction to take place.
After the two-hour wait time, apply a metal primer followed by 1-2 coats of a metal topcoat to match the rest of the post.
