How to paint outdoor aluminium window frames?
Hi, I have powder coated aluminium window / door frames and I’m looking to paint them a different colour.
I have been reading a lot online and can’t work out what the best combination is.
1: Do I brush it with an enamel paint
2: Spray it with a pressure pack can ( does the pressure pack paint last well ?)
3: Do I spray it with an electric paint gun using either two pack paint or enamel paint?
any help would be great!
cheers

Re: How to paint outdoor aluminium window frames?
Hi @willbur,
Welcome to the Workshop community.
This is a very popular topic at the moment. I would encourage you to please read this discussion - https://www.workshop.com.au/t5/Outdoor/How-do-I-know-what-paint-to-paint-3-Aluminium-Doors-in-gloss/...
It contains video for you to follow as well as recommendations from @MitchellMc on paint to use and how best to apply it. After taking a look, please don't hesitate to post any follow-up questions and I'm sure Mitchell and other community members would be more than happy to assist.
Thanks,
Jason
