I have bought the Eufy solar security cameras for my house. Could someone help me with how to install these to Hebel wall? I wasn't sure about the Hebel material and didn't know what kind of screws and plugs to use to install the cameras around my house.
Thank you.
Hi @jerryjj,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community it is fantastic to have you with us.
CSR, the manufacturer of Hebel have a Fixing to Hebel Guide with a number of ways that fixtures can be mounted on their product.
I will note that this guide says
"It’s important to seek advice on your individual home from your builder or designer before drilling holes or securing any loads onto Hebel walls. Using the right fitting for the relevant fixture will help avoid damage occurring to the wall."
It looks like you should be able to use Zenith 14g x 65mm Galvanised Hex Head 17 Timber Screws assuming your specific Hebel fits the requirements outlined in this guide.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you Jacob. Do I need to use any wall plugs?
Hi @jerryjj,
The CSR guide shows a few methods where you don't need to use a plug, but they also recommend Ramset 8 x 40mm Nylon RamPlug Anchors with a screw similar to Buildex 12g x 40mm Timber or Metal Hex Head No Seal Screws.
If you decide to use an anchor, follow the manufacturers guidance for the size of the predrilled hole, in the case of the RamPlug Anchors I've linked to above, this would be an 8mm hole.
Use an 8mm Masonry Drill Bit, but do not use the hammer function on your drill. Hebel is susceptible to blow out, and the percussive action generated by the hammer function on drills can cause the Hebel to blow out.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
