Hi All,
The overlook of our front door has a bent roof panel that pools water. Wondering if there's a diy fix for this myself before getting a professional in. I was thinking using a suction cup grip and pulling it out?
Recently pressure washed and removed a whole heap of dirt that collected from the previous homeowner.
Hi @Bfull,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Unfortunately, the screw line indicates that the metal flashing is sitting almost directly over the structure beneath. This indicates that there is an issue with the fall of the roof and simply pulling the flashing up, will not fix this issue.
I'd suggest you'll likely need to contact a roof plumber for assistance with this job as a number of components will need to be lifted, for the structure underneath to be packed out so that the water flows towards the gutter as opposed to this low point. Once the structure is packed out, the roofing components will need to be reinstated to ensure it is still waterproof and flows to the location that it should.
If you need to find someone who can do this work, I'd suggest using a service such as HiPages, Airtasker or True Local to find a roof plumber that operates in your area.
Let me know if you have any further questions that I can assist with.
