Re: how to fill this Corner Gaps in Porch Ceiling
Hi @Samara1,
To fill the gaps in your porch ceiling, start by using a gap filler rod. Push the rod into the gap so that it sits about 5mm recessed from the surface of the trim. This will provide a base for the sealant and prevent it from sinking in too deeply. Once the rod is in place, apply white exterior silicone sealant over the gap, ensuring it is evenly distributed to seal it completely.
To achieve a smooth and professional finish, wet your finger with soapy water and gently run it along the silicone. This helps create a neat, even seal and prevents the silicone from sticking to your finger. Tools you'll need include a gap filler rod (cut to size as needed), a caulking gun for applying the silicone, and scissors for trimming the rod.
With this method, the gaps will be sealed effectively, providing a clean and durable finish.
Here's a helpful guide: How to apply silicone sealant.
