How to close in patio gable roof?
We are wanting to close in the patio gable roof but unsure the best method. The rain pours in through the gap. Thinking laserlite/sunlite but read that the channels have to be vertical. We are hoping to do it in 2 pieces rather than having to have multiple sections. Also, we will have to take the sheets off the lower section of the roof to access.

Re: How to close in patio gable roof?
Hi @sophpresto,
Thank you for your question.
I think attaching Clear Sunlite Twinwall Polycarbonate Roofing to the outside face of the gable is a good option.
You could screw it on to the outside of the frame using Zenith 12G x 20mm Galvanised Hex Head Metal Screws.
What are the dimensions of the gable? If it is under 980mm high, then you can likely get away with using a single piece laid horizontally.
Allow me to tag @Dave-1 and @Nailbag to see if they have any ideas.

Re: How to close in patio gable roof?
Good Evening @sophpresto
Mmmmm Are we talking about that large trianglular opening in the gable roof or the green mesh?
I like the clear sunlight twinwall that @JacobZ has suggested. But I like it vertical and was wondering if you can mount it from the inside? It looks like the truss has all the same height surface and if you did it in vertical sections you could cut each so it fits (even if you wanted to notch the beams out of the suntuff)
Ahhh I just realised that the water would hit the outside and then you would have a lovely drip line 😕 You could have a gutter run acoss that beam and have the suntuff bases sit in the gutter. But probarly it would nicer being installed on the outside Just depends on how much a pain it will be to install.

Re: How to close in patio gable roof?
Hi @sophpresto
I like the solution @JacobZ is offering. You might just need to add some form of additional supporting frame to fix the polycarbonate to. If you want something less textured I've used this product several times in almost the same application with great results.
