My roof has recently developed yellow spots. Does anyone know what they might be, and do I need to clean them? Also, I noticed some leakage from my tiles after heavy rain. Could you please advise me on how to fix it?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @hellowaynehou. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about roof repair.
The yellow marks on your roof are likely lichen, which is a common growth on tiles. Lichen is more of an aesthetic issue than a structural concern, but it can make your roof look unsightly over time. To address this, I would recommend having your roof professionally cleaned and treated with a preventative solution to stop future growth. We have 30 Seconds 5L Roof Treatment Concentrate if you’re considering doing it yourself.
As for the leak, it's possible that the issue is related to the placement of your antenna. If the flashing around the antenna has deteriorated, water may be seeping through the gaps during heavy rain. I’d recommend contacting a roofing specialist to assess the situation and redo the flashing around the antenna. Properly installed flashing will seal off any potential entry points for water and should resolve the leak.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
