How to change hose in retractable Holman reel?

Our hose which is part of Holman retractable mounted reel is in need of replacing, is it possible to change out the hose only as the mount and retraction are still in working order?

Hi @cindyh68,

If the unit was manufactured before 2019, you can lift the lid on the top, lock the reel, and disconnect the old hose. Once the new hose is installed, you can retract it back into the unit. After 2019, the system was changed, and they started using a crimped connection inside, which isn't as easy to remove, though some people have done so. However, in 2019, Holman also increased its warranty on the hose to six years. So, either the hose can easily be replaced on the old model, or you'd still be under warranty with the newer model, and with your proof of purchase, we'll swap the whole unit over for you.
