Those were some fantastic suggestions made by our members. Just to add to the solutions offered. I propose grinding a 1cm drain channel from the centre of the slab to the edge of the lawn. You'll notice that the slab is now concave and is keeping the water in the middle creating a pool with no avenue of escape.

It is a short-term solution, but it will stop the water from staying in the slab and prevent it from becoming a slipping hazard.
