Hi
I would love to re use my older washer outdoors and i currently have a new one in the launderette.
the garden tap outside is connected to garden hose with a garden t120 tap timer. I would like to split it into two connections; 1 that runs to the washer and 1 that connects to the t120 and the garden hose. as for the washer ill only be using the cold inlet.
would that be possible?
Hi @izzyscherbs,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
It should be possible using a Nylex Brass Two Way Manifold to divert the tap into two separate streams.
The two-way manifold also has isolation valves, so one side can be turned off without the other side needing to be turned off.
You would simply need to disconnect the timer, connect the two-way manifold directly to the tap, and then reconnect the timer to one side and a Washing Machine and Dishwasher Inlet Hose to the other.
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
